At Classic Expedition Vehicles (CEV), we specialize in making classic 4x4s reliable, safe, and ready for real use. Our core focus is Toyota Land Cruisers 40 and 60 Series, but We’ve worked across a wide range of classic and modern trucks and understand the quirks of keeping them alive and driving.
This isn’t about show builds or collectors pieces. It’s about rigs you can trust — trucks that start, stop, and handle the way they should, on the road and trail.
We restore complete systems so the truck drives right when it leaves. We don’t do partial repairs inside a system.

The shop started as a side project between friends, rescuing a pair of forgotten 60 series from the desert and restoring them. Over the years, that hands-on curiosity grew into a clear passion to rebuild machines that can be trusted miles into the wilderness.
After several years operating in Steamboat Springs, CEV moved to Fort Collins to refine its process and sharpen its focus. Today, we specialize in mechanical-first restorations of classic Toyota platforms — FJ40s, FJ60s, and similar trail-ready rigs.
We build for function, reliability, and the satisfaction that comes from a well-tuned system doing what it was made to do.
